Ustadh Ali Abbasi was born in Murree, Pakistan. He was raised in Pakistan until 2004 and then moved to The United States, where he completed his high school in 2008 from Teaneck High School in New Jersey. He then went on to pursue Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Graphic Design from Rutgers State University. In 2012, he went through spiritual changes and decided to pursue a degree in Islamic Studies.
He joined Institute of Islamic Education in Elgin, IL and completed his first year before deciding to join Madrasha Tul Hussnain in Indiana to study under the guidance of Shaykh Ramzi Al-Habib, Mufti Ahmed Ali, Shaykh Ayyub Hansbai, Maulana Sulaiman Sadiq, Maulana MD. Sarwar Hossain, Maulana Nomair Chughtai and other prominent scholars.
After completing 4 years in Madrasah Tul Hussnain in Indiana, he decided to complete his year of Jurisprudence from Dar Ul Quran ws Sunnah Under the guidance of Mufti Ruhulamin, Mufti Nouman and other eminent scholars and then finally completed his Alim Course Studies from Jamia Hasnain Faisalabad, under the tutelage of senior scholars namely Shaykh Tariq Jameel, Mufti Ahmed Ali, Maulana Ubaidullah and Shaykh Ramzi al Habib.
After graduating in 2018, he returned to the United States and is currently teaching at Madrasah Tul Hussnain in Indiana. He is currently teaching subjects that include: Arabic Morphology, Arabic Syntax/Grammar, Arabic Literature.
