BISMILLAH WALHAMDULILLAH WASSALATU WAS-SALAMU A’LA RASUL ALLAH AMA BA’AD ASSALAMUALAIKUM WA RAHMATULLAHI WA BARAKATUHU

AlHussnain Seminary was established in 2013 with the mission of producing scholars fluent in the language of the Qur’an and promoting love and peace by embodying the character of the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam). Beginning with just 11 students, we have now, with the grace of Allah Subhanahu Ta’ala, grown to over 100 full-time boarding students.

For a significant period, we have been in search of a facility to call our new home—a space that would function as a community center, a K-12 school, and the current seminary. By the grace of Allah, we have found a building that meets our needs. This 139,000 SQFT facility, with a roof only 5 years old and under a 20-year warranty, includes classrooms, a commercial kitchen, a cafeteria, bathrooms for men and women, and locker rooms with showers. While it currently lacks a basketball court, we plan to add one in the future, Insha Allah.

The building, well-maintained by the previous owner, was acquired for $8,970,000. Through selling items that came with the building, donations, and qarz-e-hasana, we were able to complete the purchase, Alhamdulillah. However, we still owe $2,150,000 in qarz-e-hasana to some very generous individuals. Without their support, acquiring the building would not have been possible.

• Cleaning Supplies: $420/month

• Website Management: $110/month

The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said in a Hadith that when a person passes away, their deeds cease except for three: a pious child who prays for them, knowledge that continues to benefit others, and ongoing charity. This is our chance to leave a lasting legacy. We never know which investment will flourish on the Day of Judgment and please Allah Subhanahu Ta’ala.

We need to repay the qarz-e-hasana and, by doing so, secure a part in this Masjid that will benefit us in this world and the Hereafter.
